Georgetown Lacrosse is a community-driven youth and high school lacrosse club serving athletes across the greater Georgetown area from 1st through 12th grade.

We welcome players attending:

  • Any Georgetown ISD school
  • Any Georgetown private school
  • Any Georgetown charter school
  • Any Georgetown homeschool program
  • Any neighboring school district that doesn't offer lacrosse

Whether a player is picking up a stick for the first time or preparing for high school competition, Georgetown Lacrosse provides a place for athletes to learn, compete, and be part of a team.

About Georgetown Lacrosse

A Volunteer Nonprofit Organization

Georgetown Lacrosse is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization operated entirely by volunteers.

Our board members, coaches, and program leaders dedicate their time to creating opportunities for student-athletes and growing the sport within the Georgetown community.

Because we are volunteer-run, every registration, sponsorship, donation, and partnership directly supports:

  • Player development
  • Equipment and field needs
  • League operations
  • Scholarships and accessibility programs
  • Long-term program growth

Scholarship Opportunities

We believe every child should have the opportunity to play lacrosse regardless of financial circumstances.

Scholarships and financial assistance may be available for qualifying families needing support with registration or participation costs.

Our goal is to ensure athletes can participate in a respectful and supportive environment without unnecessary barriers.

Families interested in scholarship opportunities may contact president@georgetownlacrosse.org.

Governance and Board Leadership

The Georgetown Lacrosse Board is elected annually during the second week of May.

As a nonprofit organization, we are committed to transparency, accountability, and responsible leadership that supports the long-term success of the program and its athletes.

The Board holds monthly board meetings and the community is welcome to attend, unless it is a closed board meeting. Please contact the board secretary to confirm the meeting time and location.
